Ok, I'll think I get your question, so, I believe you want to know if the events of the first movie happened in this story? If that's the case, then let me assure you, it did happen, I just haven't found the exact spot where to include those events. Now, the concept I'm using of different universes is totally different from the dimensional link between Equestria and CHS, they coexist in a universe (like a bubble), but the whole plot focuses on the conflict out of their universe. I'm aware that all CHS knows about Equestria's existence, but not about Halo's universe, not even Star war's universe, that's why Sci-Twi got shocked by learning that there are many universes out there.

To be honest, some are good, but I simply can't, it's difficult to manage a plot with many characters and subplots, and in my personal opinion, including too much in the story will end up boring the readers in the best of cases. I'll keep a very few in consideration, though, and see if they can work out in the future plot.
