11258843 What most impressed me about the story was its potential.
For half a decade I've been planning and scheming on making a story about changelings and a mare, but all I've been able to do is a first draft one-shot.
You, however, managed to just write it out. And there were quite a lot of ideas you incorporated into it. Each of them could possibly be a subplot in its own right. If you pursued all of them, you'd probably end up with a novel.
You navigated it and managed to get away with merely mentioning the extra ideas/motives.
For a 1000-word story, it actually holds a lot of content. Hell, you even wrote a sort of prologue.
