i think it would vary based on individual circumstances, like if the pegasus is a newborn or an adult that just acquired a handicap, or if the pegasus already has a history with the enclave. i doubt they would discard someone useful, like a ranking officer or a lead scientist.

well, i tried a fallout story concept with a charchter of mine, who's a handicapped pegasus from birth, and i had trouble imaging if the enclave would accept that. So, best thing i couild come up with, was similar to this work of yours, that the parents got stranded on the surface, the handicapped pegasus born here
A very good start. I look forward to what you have coming up. By the way, I love the character name Dauntless. All I can think of is the SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber from WW2, a great workhorse and tough as nails. Keep up the good work. Also, I almost forgot, I really like the artwork. A great touch.

Honestly, i'm very interested what's going to happen in the next chapter. Dauntless is so lucky to be picked up and protected by a caravan. I'm looking forward for the next chapter.
