MLP meets Rozen Maiden meets Highlander. Naturally, that’s me never having seen Rozen Maiden or Highlander. But I do know about them! :D
One day, while Twilight is visiting Canterlot, she is attacked by the female unicorns there. She discovers that only one female unicorn in all of Equestria can survive, according to the whim of "Alice," a mysterious mare speaking directly to their minds. When she returns to Ponyville, she discovers that it is practically a smoking ruins, with only a handful of female unicorns alive. One of them being Rarity. There can be only one.
(This is never going to get "dark" dark. However, it is about a war between every female unicorn in existence, and that was the best tag I could pick.) :P
(And with 13 characters, I can't tag them all. ;_; I've tagged key characters so far. Perhaps the tags will change as the story goes on...)

Well, I guess by "dark" dark, I was thinking of grimdark, Pinkamena, Lovecraftian horror, Empty Room, psychological horror. My story isn't that bad, but you're right. I may be underselling it in my own head.
I don't understand why this doesn't have better ratings. It's a great concept. Perhaps the 'fight' scenes are a little underplayed and there's not as much detail, but it's fantastic in and of itself. Eh. Still, good concept for a ponies-become-violent story. Kinda like the conservation of ninjutsu trope?

Yeah, I think I understand that there's not much to the fight scenes. (Although, I'm pretty sure there's only one so far...) It's something I'm going to have to work on, especially once the majority of the fights start happening around day 7. As to there being less descriptive parts... darn. I had hoped that would be what I was good at. I guess I'll have to work on that too.
