Prince Flameheart Von Ashen, or simply known as ‘The Flame Prince’ is the Heir to the Royal Throne of The Kingdom Of Fire. Based out of the city of Ashen in the northwestern corner of Equestria. He and his Flame Ponies have lived alone, isolated, and in near poverty for over a millennium after they lost the Great Fire Wars many centuries ago. However they have not remained inactive, and the young Prince will soon find himself the centerpiece of a plot to reclaim their place in the sun.

Wait so they attacked there neighbors captured some of them and then blamed the very same neighbors for the war. Like what do you expect if you aggress upon someone the will strike back. Well lets see where this will go.
I still don't quite understand this nation of fire. They seem to think their neighbors want to wipe them out but also believe they are weak. They are seeking retribution even though they attacked first and as far as I can tell so far they mostly lost people not land. There has to be more to this that is not shown yet well let's see where this goes.

Ok so biggest gripe about this new race of flame ponies
. paper requires a temp of almost 400F to combust and if that happens any time they touch the stuff it also means their bodies are always giving off that amount of heat. There is no way normal ponies could live with them as the very air around them would have to be hundreds of degrees and burn the lungs of normal ponies. The only reason I could see a species like this existing was if they lost the ability to self regulate their output at some point or if the fire was completely magic and only burned when they wanted but then they wouldn’t have issues with paper if that was the case…

Hello author 1)what can Mer know about the fiery ruby if the badlands are very far from the lowlands and they are not written about in Equestria? (Maybe there are records about them in closed sources that are not accessible to everyone and the measure used to have access to them? 2) Why did the Prince of Flame and his companions choose battle names in a peaceful country? (It was possible to choose a name associated with both the brand and the peaceful cause) 3) why did Rich pay a thousand more than they agreed? (Although this can be explained by the fact that he wanted to create a good first impression on a client who could bring in more money) 4) I am not a native English speaker so there may be mistakes

Hello again my friend, first off as Flameheart will soon learn Fire Ruby's are very rare, only found in the Firelands and other similar environments thanks to the intense underground heat of the region, like the dragon lands. This makes them rare and therefore quite valuable.
Secondly as for the names I wouldn't say they are a big detriment for staying undercover. As there are Equestrian royal guards named after weapons, a good example being Spearhead. So the ponies of Ponyville may just think that Flameheart's mares are just retired royal guards.
As for Filthy Rich wanting to pay more than what Flameheart initially wanted. Well being a business pony and a stallion means that he knows gems, sapphires, and other high value rocks quite well. Which means that unlike Flameheart he knows the true value of that ruby, and he felt bad. So perhaps he decided to help them out a little bit by giving Flameheart a few more bits.
