With the events of the Cozy Glow incident fresh on his mind, Benjamin William Murdoch is faced with a new dilemma. However, this may prove to be more than personal, as it may be the ultimate test of character. He also finds that Equestria can be just as complicated as Earth, which may be closer than it seems. The man takes it upon himself to carry out a mission. Regardless of anycreature's opinion, he will see to it that it is fulfilled regardless of the price he may pay.

What it all seems to be saying is that its implaying he was brought to equestria for q reqson, and regardless of that reason someone is responsible for it, as opposed to it being a freak magical accident or whatever. And if someone IS responsible, that gives him good reason to be very angry since its put a great deal of mental hardship on him.
Seeing how the Eagle looked I think it stands for a bit more then our main hero. I wonder what is coming that will need Ben?
