In an age where the adventures we've come to know and love are history for all but the oldest of ponies, these are things that have driven Crescent for much of her life. Only out there, in places long untouched, if ever, by ponykind, will she find the answers to her questions, on the road that a group of friends, on their final adventure, walked before her.

-whistles- That's a hell of a way to start a story. Not quite in medias res, blending adventure, mystery, danger, determination, hopefulness and possibility of a terrible failure, and somehow you've managed to strike a balance between them all.
