This story is a sequel to Advanced Lessons
Who's ready for a full night of tricks and treats? Ghosts and goblins? Parties and ponies? Chases and changelings?...Hold on, what was that last one?
What better way to way could there be to remind ponies of just how much fun Nightmare Night could be, than with a party? None, according to a certain pink party-pony. And who throws the biggest and best parties in all of Equestria? Again, a certain pink party-pony.
But otherwise, there can could be no bigger a party than the one being thrown in Canterlot Castle. It was the perfect night for all of Twilight's friends to have some lighthearted fun for for a change. And while the foals gobbled down candy, she could pay a visit to her favorite mentor.
What could go wrong?
--A fun holiday-themed story, in the same vein as A Very Merry Chrysalis. I hope everyone enjoys--
Wait, she wore bug-face? That's racist.
Welp, that can only end well.
Wow, Rainbow seems to have actually dumped any points she ever had in tact into some other stat.
Bug-face! That's racist!
That was very good, and it's great to see you're still writing. You did a great job with all the characters that had significant roles as always, and I'm looking forward to your guards putting in an appearance in future chapters.
As you command, eternal queen sunbutt the silly.

Yeah, tact was always her dump stat. She can generally cover it with the high int that was on full display here when she needs to, but friends are by definition people you can be yourself with so of course she didn't bother in this chapter.
A new Dungeonguy88 Chrysalis story and it's a Halloween episode? Nice.
Is that even a thing in Equestria? Super-frilly rich nobles, sure, but royalty seems to wear just a set of specific decorations (and have godlike power). Well, I suppose it not being true isn't enough to stop a stereotype from existing.
You know it could be a show/Nightmare Night prank. Or an invasion from an alternate universe. Those are disturbingly equally plausible at this point.
Oh hey, is that Seabreeze? I find myself vaguely hoping we get more of her and Luna at some point.
An amusing update. Especially when Rainbow Dash started loudly suggesting they jump the guard in her earshot.

Yep, that's Sea Breeze. The Mane6 have bumped into her before, but only in passing, at this point in the timeline. So, I didn't want to make it too obvious, to reflect that they didn't particularly remember her. And, we'll also get to see her along with Luna in the near future. I can say this about Chrysalis' game for the evening, that it involves everypony choosing between Celestia or Luna's side. So, no surprise that most of batponies would pick Luna's side.
A riddle wrapped in an enigma.
Hey, she's always telling truth... ful lies.
... I'm now hoping for the foals dressed as changelings.
'head form side-to-side as she continued' - from
'Chrysalis“...are you feeling well? Or, you know...lying?”' - Chrysalis "... Are
That was a great chapter. Chrysalis was tons of fun as always, and it was great to see Sea Breeze again even if she didn't do much. That said, I was a little disappointed that teleportation wasn't the answer because that seems like a very Chrysalis was to go about the problem. Get them feeling bad about "cheating", and then congratulate them on figuring out they had to teleport later to screw with their heads.

I don't know why she was worried, Dashie was obviously just feeling frisky.
My money was going to be on the door not being locked at all.
