I'm a tiny bit confused as to what happened in this story. When Celestia says "but at what cost" I'm not sure what she means by that. I can only assume that it means the cure for the royal heat makes her infertile or something along those lines. Also I feel like this could definitely be drawn out into a longer story. Still a good read imo.
