Growing concerned with the activities of the Twilight Sparkle from Crystal Prep and with no reply from Princess Twilight, Sunset decides to take matters into her own hands and go back to Equestria and find Twilight to get her help.
However, Sunset finds herself unknowingly trapped within Twilight's time loop with Starlight Glimmer, arriving in Nightmare Moon's timeline. It's now up to Sunset to find out why things aren't the way they should be and get back to the human world before it's too late.
