Great story. This was a refreshing look into the interaction between an author and the characters.

I agree, it’s so good to read this and be fascinated by the relationship between the author/writer and the characters they are using.

I'm so glad you both enjoyed it!

sometimes i like to think that you're characters live on as their own separate entity after the story has ended, and until you write a sequel they are their own self, only seen glimpses into their lives after the story...

but that's just me :/

I like that idea, but then I'd worry about interrupting their lives by writing another story... hmm.

Well that's the point I mean i could leave them to their own lives, living with a family that they care for, or I could create yet another problem were they have to get up from the comfort zone and go through hell again because i got bored one day.

A writer is truly the god of his/her written world... We should all feel ashamed of what we put our characters through :fluttershysad:.

Is this a reference to horror or clopfics

I don't know how... I had no idea you'd replied to me :applejackconfused:!

I was not referencing anything in particular. It is just that at times characters misbehave and try to live ordinary lives... but we, writers, force them into troubles... They'd very much rather not... But readers want things engaging, and peace and harmony... are, admittedly, boring.

Although both horror and clop stories are something the chars would rather not... For that matter, neither would the readers. Horrors are disturbing, and clopfics are lewd.

But even most ordinary adventures could become too much for them...
