Gear rings head is hilarious

Yeah, the little guy has his moments. Though it probably also brings up some questions about Gearing, given he's having long detailed conversations with his own ego. xD
the freak outs are amazing ,, now how can Gearing fix this little problem??

Re:17
Thanks! I try to add in humor where appropriate (which sometimes means using it inappropriately for effect) to help temper the over all serious nature of the story. And, yeah, that was a pun I just couldn't pass up the opportunity on. :)
re: 18
Oof, you're really poking at some interesting points with these questions. xD
re: Pharynx's name: I can neither confirm nor deny any potential deeper meaning behind the name. You're gonna have to wait for later in the story to find out the answer to that one. xD
RE: the ghoul mare trader: Yeah, she's an interesting character. And, for spoiler reasons, I can't really tell you much about her. But, I can confirm that she's definitely a recurring character, her part's far from over in this story, [even among the current mid 60s chapters] and that there's definitely more to her than meets the eye. Which, that last part, I don't feel is a spoiler as it's well known that ghouls live for a long time, and she seems to know a lot more than simply some random ghoul should.
re: 19
Lol! yeah, another pop culture reference with titles... "We're men... we're MANLY MEN!" xD Glad it tickled your funny bone.
And yeah, Gearing's paranoia in such matters also brings up that he's well aware of such dangers being a possibility. And is in no big hurry to do anything "that stupid". And, yeah, I thought it would be an interesting bit, and actually more realistic, for Pile Driver [a big burly bruiser of a fighter] actually being smart enough and recognizing that brute strength doesn't solve everything. [The reason for his smarts will probably become a bit clearer to you in somewhat soon future chapters.] "Might makes right" won't get the toaster working again.
Key? What key? :3
Oh, THAT key... well... it's just a random key, found in the locked safe of a collapsed farm house out in the middle of no where, it couldn't POSSIBLY have any real purpose to it, right? ;)
