Rejected Heroes

This story is a sequel to Rejected Magic

After Onyx woke up in an empty field, he was surprised to find the Guardians nowhere in sight. Even his closest friends were gone. Now he must set out to find new friends to take on the shades. This is the story of how Onyx restored his morale and gave his friends hope.

Hiatus lifted and this story is back in action!

"Without you helping him, Onyx will lose his sanity, more than he already has. Now, I must activate your magic to be entwined with mine," the shade spirit told the now captive Crystal Quartz, but it couldn't seem to establish a connection.
"What have you done?! Your magic is gone! I..I don't understand! Your a unicorn. Without your magic, I can't leave or control you! You will never survive, mortal! Dark curse you!" The spirit's rant finally came to an end when it was destroyed, leaving Crystal to be able to focus again.

Yay, another chapter. Though one thing I noticed, Rosanna is mentioned a few times but never gets any lines. I know you are telling your own story, but could you at least write in her making a sarcastic response or something in one of the next few chapters?
