Skades are ice demons. They're heartless and cruel, along with being banished from Equestria over a millennia ago. That is, they were, until the fateful day sixty years ago when they broke free from their imprisonment and declared war on the world.
Of course, like I said, that was sixty years ago.
Now, we live under a new government and different rules from when my grandparents grew up. Want a Cutiemark? Good luck with that! Need to use magic? Enjoy your time in jail! Does this sound unfair to you? Too bad, suck it up!
This was just the way of life, until a crazy rebellion leader dragged me into a heroic quest to uncover the Elements of Harmony, along with five other foals. Did I mention we could be killed any second?
I really hate my life sometimes.

Hmm, interesting question.
Wyn's voice would sound like a bird, very clear and soft, and a bit hard to hear sometimes.
Silver's voice would be like a trumpet, loud and easy to recognize.
Lou's voice would be like crystal, sharp and refined.
Razz's voice would be like crackling leaves, raspy and warm.
Sky's voice would be like a winter breeze, sudden and refreshing.
Hurricane's voice would be like a whip, quick and cool.
Sorry if the descriptions sound strange, but that's how I imagine them.
