Inspired by my story, "Loving the Nightmare" -- Twilight Sparkle travels to the alternate timelines she saw while chasing Starlight Glimmer. Seeking knowlege, she instead finds lust, passion, possession and desire.

Starting from "I am" here, the rest of the chapter becomes bolded.
Really liked the chapter. Curious to see how Rarity will react to two ponies covered in rubber.

Thanks. Not sure why it did that but I'll fix it as soon as I get back home
I love this story, This chapter is a sad peek into the short lives of people in this apocalyptic version of equestria.
I only have one very miner nitpick. Didn't the crusaders form after Nightmare Moon, so why would AppleBloom be reffered to as Crusader?

Just you wait....
So Celestia went Nuclear

Different timeline so different sequences in each (as we have seen with FlimFlam)
So Celestia had a magic nuke
True, butterfly wings and all that jazz,
Very interesting chapter. Sad look into what happened after whatever happened in Canterlot, but I do love that poem at the end.

Pretty sure the sun is a thermonuclear bomb that never stops exploding

It's by Dylan Thomas. Here is one of my favorite readings of it....

Sigh
Yes, Twilight you should have just allowed Starlight to alter the timeline and have her way. Even though each of those timelines was caused because the Sonic Rainboom ever happened resulting in different outcomes where there was no one available to use the Elements or band together to stop evil when it threatened Equestria. And its your fault that Starlight was a complete idiot who attacked you when you visited her village, forceably removed your cutie mark, kidnapped you and your friends, and deceived an entire village all because she lost a friend. Yes Twilight, this is all on you and not the result of any other pony's actions. Even though you didn't create the spell that caused it or wanted it to happen, this is all on you.
So either Twilight has learned nothing from her previous journeys on the complexities of multiple timelines and the domino effect or this reality has her breathing in stupid gas.

Put it down to an overly developed sense of responsibility and perhaps a very large dash of hyperbole on Twilight's part.

There's 'overly developed sense of responsibility' and then there's Peter Parker's 'This is all my fault' which is what that bit felt like. This might have made sense if she had been the one to cause this reality in someway, however Starlight was always the one pulling the trigger and setting things into motion. Yet Starlight seems to be taking the fact that she destroyed entire timelines better than Twilight.

All right then

I'm just saying this as a fan of people visiting alternate time lines. One example is the show Sliders where the characters visited many worlds with some better than others. I suggest giving it a watch, at least for the 1st season.
I also have a problem with Twilights, I'm holding it all in because she's not the type of mare to do that and then blame herself. She cries, falls down to the ground when she believes that she failed. For a moment, she sounded robotic in my head. If the character only says that she cares, but doesn't show it then why should I, the reader, believe it? And that just makes her 'It's all my fault' feel like whining

Sliders was a great show. And Harry Turtledove writes some fine alternate worlds books. My favorite is Ruled Britannia.

I'm a fan of the episode The Guardian from season three. I mean, who hasn't wished they could go back and help your younger self through the worst time in your life and date the teacher you had a crush on. Not to mention the fact that the Professor was dealing with his own mortality, deciding to make the most of the time he had left.
This was quite the interesting chapter, sad yes, but still interesting. An explosion of that magnitude, it's rather frightening to imagine what caused it. Also, thank you for including the rest of the poem at the end, it's a definite favourite of mine.
