Inspired by my story, "Loving the Nightmare" -- Twilight Sparkle travels to the alternate timelines she saw while chasing Starlight Glimmer. Seeking knowlege, she instead finds lust, passion, possession and desire.

Poor Dashile, the indestructible pony she’s tried so hard to create will not help her in this land of peace and friendship. I do hope Luna finds a use for her.
Great update, Penalt! Made me cry, always a sign of outstanding writing.
Moar pls.
Honestly, after binging this story, this is the most confused my boner has ever been

LOL, you should read my "Thruster" stories.
why did you change from Roman numerals to numbers?
Dash YOU didn't betray your Equestria. MAUD DID she USED you.
Honestly, I am fine with how things have evolved, because it gives the worlds and characters greater depth to them. It might limit how easy it is to masturbate to, but it leaves a more interesting story in its wake. I mean, we are exploring the different forms of Distopia and dark worlds, with the first world being akin to the book We in nature and the previous world being akin The Draka. All of this with our dear Twilight trying desperately to turn these worlds to a better path, else saving those whom she can from said worlds. Now, is anyone else prepared for the Brave New World system merged with dissident disposal of 1984 that likely defines the Changling world?
I am really interested in how this story goes with Dashiel and Pinkie Pie. I am also wondering how this will go with Pinkie and her Rainbow Dash and how that Dash responds to Dashiel and her potential weirdness about Pinkie and her dearly departed wife.

There is going to be a lot of feeling out of things. Dashiel is a veteran of a nasty, brutal and total war. The best analogy being World War II. Equestria was in a state of total mobilization for years and Dashiel experienced things that scarred her in body and soul. She very likely has a bad case of PTSD, and is going to have trouble relating to an Equestria at peace.

Indeed and Rainbow Dash may not understand that when she finally interacts with Dashiel. Pinkie will try of course but I would imagine she would have difficulty with it too.

You think WWII was a brutal war? Yikes.
9239956
Other wars may have had more "brutality" in them, but nothing in recorded human conflict can match up with the combination of scale, inhumanity and degree of total mobilization of World War II. That war involved the entire planet with battles waged on every continent. It featured not just well known horrors like the Holocaust, but lesser known ones such as the Rape of Nanking, and the activities of Unit 731.
About the only thing that comes close, to my mind, is Genghis Khan's westward movement. Even then, it's nowhere near the scale of the World War 2.

So "brutality" = scale? Thats an odd word to use.
9241385
3 hours sleep. "Scale of brutality" would have been a better choice on my part.
9241802
Oh, well if you're ranking WWII at the top of "Scale of brutality" then you seem to be talking about 'which 'war' gets the most publicity'.
9241912
Not even a bit. But I learn best by not listening to myself. What war or wars would you consider to be more brutal, and how do you define brutality in war?
9242169
This is stupid. I feel like I’m just going to get banned for going down this path so I give up. You win.
9242645
I would like to note in the initial post the author did not say WW2 was the MOST brutal but rather said it was the best analogy of a brutal and total war. In order for you to disagree you would need to show in your opinion that WW2 was not brutal and not a total war and while I could see a discussion on what the most brutal war ever was (though I am not sure why in this case it would matter) I think it would be hard to say that WW2 was not brutal.

I believe he was referring to the First World War, which resulted in soldiers suffering from Gas attacks, being mowed down by machine guns, being struck down rapidly by the "Naples Soldier" (Spanish Influenza), standing in knee deep mud for long enough that your feet start to rot off of your bones, the French having quotas for how many losses they were supposed to suffer killing their own troops themselves to meet said quota, deliberate starvation of the civilian population, and other such events.

Have you had the chance to study Timur the Lame or Tamerlane as he's more often known? He was incredibly brutal and cruel. Often employing mass rape and executions on the cities he captured. During his lifetime he reduced the world's population by roughly 5% (17 million people killed by his forces) and he did all that with nothing more than bows and swords.

Not as much as I should have. However, his death count tends to get lumped in with that of the other mongol conquerors. I'd love to read your source if you could link me. Especially as my heritage is of that area of the world.
The Mongol conquests had death and atrocity on a massive scale, but WWII is my go to example due to how recent it is and how well documented the events of it are.
