The Phantom Thief, a perfect disguise for a thieving changeling. As Da'rak, the sole remaining changeling in Canterlot after the failed invasion of Equestria, tries to survive in the center of the enemy's country. Until a police detective and an immortal alicorn take interest in the recent string of robberies supposedly perpetrated by the Phantom Thief, Da'rak's life is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

So far the story is great and I can also see the similarities to the Phantom thief Anime trope. I'm also wondering if there is any relation to a certain Anime specifically if so which and if not how did you think of this story?
7820323 There is actually no anime I got inspiration from. Instead for inspiration for the story, I shall point you in the direction of Without A Hive, a part in the story has the main character pretend to be a Thief for reasons too complicated to say here, but while reading it I thought to myself: Hey, why not take the Thief idea and make it it's own story. And this was born from it. And I also spent a lot of time on TvTropes when writing this story, so that might account for similarities as well.
