EDIT: I want to apologize for however many of you were interested in this story. I had every intention of coming back to finish this, but me and my Co-Writer The-Lonely-Art had a falling out to put it lightly, and I honestly don't know who is more at fault, me or her. Maybe things will be better between us one day, but with a heavy heart, as it stands this story is canceled, as I cannot in good conscience continue the story without her. I sincerely apologize as I had time to work on my stories, but always got distracted. If anyone wants to blame me I won't blame them.
Not much I can say about this first chapter of your prequel other than, excellent job on the emotional content, exchanges, action and future chapter AND future story set-up in all the right places. I have to admit, I like this version of Dusk's ascension quite a bit. For this universe, it makes A LOT of sense. At any rate, I will definitely be looking forward to more of this as soon as time and inspiration will allow.

7519875 Well, in addition to the action AND the explanation of how Dusk ascended (both of which I aforementioned), I also really liked the family bonding moments between Nyx, Shiny, Spike and Dusk. And I also really liked how Shiny, though understandably angry about - certain events - had enough self-control as to not give in to vengeance.
