CELESTA DAMNED CLIFF HANGERS!
FOR THE LUNAR CORP!!!!! PROPHETAM AD MORTEM!!!!
If Tirek's amulet cancels out magic it's only logical that it will also cancel out the tube staff. If the staff already worked on Tirek they could just give a load of ponies the staffs and send them against Tirek, no need for Frank.
Frank made a Pinkie Promise.
Now I've seen everything.
Nope, they all deaded as dead.
He's got a point Twilight, just sayin'.
Ha! Please... I fully expect Frank to kill him, if not... then I will be disgustingly surprised.
AND CHRIST... Franky, please wound those you fight extensively so~ Hahahahahaha!
Nicely done man.
7791747 As Pinkie said, Breaking promise is the fastest way to lose friend. Frank don't have friends here, so I think that he will have no problems with breaking it.
Notice how he didn't promise for Tirek himself.
7791763 I REALLY hope you are right.
7791763 I believe Sherlock Holmes (From BBC's Sherlock, in season 3) once said that promises are a pointless endeavor, and that it's impossible to maintain one (he made one anyways because it was John's wedding day, but that's beside the point). I myself actually believe the same thing, and I'm certain Frank does.
After all, he promised to protect his daughter and be there for her… You can see how well that worked for him. So, in short, when he made that Pinkie Promise, it's like a Hindu person swearing on the Bible. It's empty words.
Translation: He's gonna fucking do it anyways.
I REALLY hope this battle goes sour for Twilight, maybe then she can finally open her oblivious eyes, and see that her "peaceful" solutions don't always work. If they spare Tirek, it's just another opportunity for him to make a comeback.
7791842 Yup! I'm hoping for a scenario where Tirek or one of his minions in about to kill a bunch of innocents and can't be incapacitated for any reason, only killed or something like that.
Still not sure about starlight becoming an ambassador and I still don't think the element of magic would work for her
Still hope Frank does not change after this adventure as not even Captain America could change him
Frank a hero? He is an anti hero and that will not change.
Oh god. I can see frank V pinkie coming up. I wonder how breaking this promise will affect frank/pinkie.
Really gonna be disappointed if this ends with him ending up a good guy.
welp thats it. pinkies either gonna die or end up permanently stuck as her insane pinkamanea alter ego in some insane asylum somewhere
You also doubted he can escape from your prisons and look at what happened.
You made him promise to not kill Tirek's henchmen but not Tirek himself.
She still hasn't realized that almost all of her problems are villains that keep coming back and she keeps sparing every single one of them.
She doesn't even have to kill all of them, just kill the most evil ones that are for sure going to come back.
Evidence: Tirek you stupid fuck
This is only going to end well for Frank. I'm just waiting till something happens that obliterates Twilight's thinking methods... such as the centaurs capturing and killing shining armor, or something.
Why didn't twilight just magically modify all his weapons? you could easily cast a spell that makes all of his bullets unable to kill. And Frank Castle Who probably end up killing Tirek. Telling Frank not to kill is like telling Godzilla to stop smashing Tokyo.
Hells Fire: In the next chapters we will see, a non-magical being using a non-lethal weapon to kill a gigantic son of bitch that came straight from Tartarus that already "semi-killed" thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, in his way with a magic-sucking power... This will end horrible, either to Twilight, so she can realize that not everything can be reformed, or it will end horribly to Tirek.

Twilight isn't that particular kind of clever. And that's not just this fic; she's very smart, but she's never been particularly clever, let alone sneaky. She wants to deal with every problem head on, openly and honestly. And, in this fic, that translates to upholding an unreasonable black-and-white code of morality until it breaks her.
7792257 yeah, giving the punisher a figurative glass cannon? Once it breaks he's gonna start stabbing...
7792507
Hells Fire: I believe there is a song for that! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1LQWyOWc0w) Is not that, but the 'Knife goes chop! chop! chop!' literally says what going to happen.
I never understood how somepony could fight a evil super being that wants everything to be destroyed and not kill. Its ether the death of one or a few, or rather the possibility of many innocent or even yourself...its just. Honestly, I think twilight is the true evil in her own way, she's even worse than Tirek.
I really can't wait to see Twilight's code of morality just shatter to pieces like Tireks skull.

That actually sounds damn near impossible. But she could modify the guns so they don't use bullets.
Something I am hoping for is that Frank smashes Tireks amulet in full view of Twi, and smashing it somehow kills him.
The fact that he would have died no mater who smashed the amulet would be a giant blow for her, Frank... not so much.

She's an alicorn that had bountiful amounts of power before she became an alicorn. If she can put in Ursa Minor to sleep, then setting a gun to "killing bad" should be easy. She could've changed the gun into steam or the bullets to mercury or his knife into goddamn snowflakes, but she didn't. She left his guns on changed, and locked up somewhere. For all we know, he could get his hands back on his guns and discover that a buckshot to the back of Tirek's head equals a new hole, but they were left unmodified and fully capable of tearing someone a new @$$hole.

Alright, first of all; non-sequitur. The two things are completely unrelated, you can't say that one should allow the other.
Secondly, you seem to have no idea what the destructive potential of a gun is. Lifting a heavy object is one thing. Stopping a point from puncturing is an entirely different thing.
A friend and I were discussing a similar matter a while ago. Your average 5.56 (assault rifle) bullet produces 140,000 newtons of force, or roughly equivalent to 14.25 metric tonnes.
For each bullet.
Each magazine holding 30 bullets.
And Frank having multiple magazines.
She'd have to keep every bullet from achieving that force.
In a span of time faster than a brain is capable of thinking.
Changing the bullets to mercury would exacerbate the problem, as mercury has a far higher density than a typical copper-jacketed lead bullet, and would therefore exert far more force.
I never said she couldn't make his guns nonlethal, just that she couldn't make his bullets nonlethal. I made that point quite clear.
Well, he tried that, didn't he? It didn't fucking work, did it?
