this castle is gonna rek face in tartarus.
The Punisher vs. The Humane 7! Soon. This is gonna be awesome!
You know, it'd be easier to count all the people Frank hasn't

Jesus Christ!! Remind me to never piss off Twilight like Castle did. That amount of rage she was blowing off would make the Hulk proud.
Yikes, he doesn't even hold back against a magical pony princess.
Good
Poor litle Frank is so sad and lonely, and mad, that even when the closest thing to a paradise on Earth stare him in the eye he just shrug it off.
Anyone else suddenly glad that Frank doesn't have Ghost Riders powers?
I mean I just happened to ponder that one for a moment while he was fighting her and, to be completely honest, it scared me just a bit.
Twilight thought everything can be solved peacefully and wanted the world to be all sunshine and rainbows.
She received a kick to the face courtesy of the Punisher.
I just realized something: each of Twilight's villains feed into Frank's belief that imprisoning criminals doesn't work. Nightmare Moon, Discord, and Tirek were all jailed and they managed to come back. Chrysalis, Sombra, and the sirens were all banished yet they were able to return. Even Starlight Glimmer, who they defeated but didn't capture, came back for vengeance. Frank can twist nearly every one on Twilight's victories into proof that his methods work!
EDIT: I originally had Sunset Shimmer and Trixie on this list, with Sunset as a villain who was banished and Trixie as a villain who was defeated but not captured. It has been brought to my attention that this is not accurate and they have been removed. However, both ponies still serve as examples of what happens when a problem is put aside and not dealt with.

Well she has been running herself ragged recently. She needs several days off just to unwind and relax and she would be in a far better mood I bet. The problem is now she will not stop until she has dealt with Frank and his soon to be expanding body count. Not to sound cynical here but I am betting that the ponies are not learning to stand on their own four hooves her and relaying on Twilight and co. to deal with every threat. Now when Twilight needs to be running on all cylinders she will be running on empty and be in one foul mood.
7718753 That would pretty much just be Ghost Rider with guns.
You should do Doctor Strange next.
7718833
If I can think of a good story for him, maybe.
7718775 Technically the Dazzlings never returned. They just started causing trouble in the place they were banished to cause time displacement and Twilight was called in to help deal with them. They're still stuck on Equestrian Earth and don't know the way home was literally within their grasp.
7718780 I doubt even the spirit of vengeance would be comfortable in Frank Castle's body.
7718929 Very true. However, the point still stands as their banishment did not prevent them from causing trouble.
So, he beat up Twilight. I like it.
Twilight seems far too focused on capturing the Punisher for permanently stopping a group of rampaging fanatics with immeasurable magical power, despite their proclamations of destroying the world so it can be ruled over by an established tyrant and monster like Tirek.
They said they were going to exterminate all life and were backing up their words with actions, and Twilight gets pissed off more when someone prevents them from destroying the rest of the city, including the homes and lives of parents, children, and workers? He did everyone a favor by putting a bullet in those centaurs.
Oh, so when someone is threatening the world and harming innocents, it's acceptable to jail them up and teach them lessons in friendship; but when someone kills that threat to prevent further collateral damage, they're a villain of the vilest nature and should be wiped from existence for it? Makes sense, I suppose. Oh wait. No, it doesn't.
Twilight, you lost your moral high ground the moment you attacked someone out of anger instead of necessity, effectively turning your back on your own ideals of friendship and forgiveness. And then you helped destroy more of the city than even the centaurs were capable of in pursuit of one man with your alicorn magic and your temper tantrum. I'd argue that this alone makes you worse than the centaurs, mostly because of your hypocrisy.
Don't tell me she isn't trying to murder the guy. Twilight, who preaches two wrongs don't make a right, would have snapped the Punisher's neck here if he were any less important to the story. This chapter would have been so much better if Twilight wasn't an absolute thoughtless moron throughout. This just makes her character weak, as she abandons her very own principles at the drop of a hat. Bad writing unless we see how low Twilight is willing to go to make good on her promise to stop Punisher.
7718763
She started the fight. Yes, that positively screams "solving everything peacefully". She earned that suplex she got for her efforts.
7718833 No, do Doctor Fate. Please, Strange gets enough recognition already. Show Fate a little love.

I think it is Twilight being tired and stressed out. It has been established already in this story that Twilight has been dealing with one crisis after the other, look at the prologue. When she was trying to teach the friendship lesson to that villain recently he was still snubbing her beliefs. Now with all of this she just witnessed Frank kill in cold blood several beings she believes she could convert and bragged about multiple other kills she snapped. Heck Frank knocking her out may be the most sleep she has had in a while.
Twilight just snapped due to stress and she is only going to get more erratic from here on out. Hopefully Celesta and her friends can keep her in check.
Punisher? Stopped? Hohoho, Twilight, you're so precious~
Not everything is sunshine and rainbows.
Nice job on this man, this is fucking awesome!
7718978 Trixie and Sunset also weren't banished . Trixie did nothing illegal the first time and Sunset left by her own choice.
The only reformation which caused problems was discords.
Hi-hi. Pony princess got pummeled.
I found that just a bit more satisfying than I probably should have.
7719328 Perhaps when she wakes up, her morals will be back in working order. Still, even with stress being a possible excuse, she only added to the damage of the city and she tried to kill someone, both being things she tried to incarcerate Frank for. I'm simply pointing out her two-facedness regardless of her mental state.
If she was clearheaded enough to continue rationalizing her beliefs that violence was wrong, then she was clearheaded enough to realize that she wasn't adhering to said beliefs herself. She didn't even tell him to surrender, she just BOOM shot him and thought he wouldn't respond in kind.
7705366 I think you might have mixed Ghost Rider and The Punisher. One is a soul of a demon in a humans body with a lot of power, the other is an ordinary human with nothing but his determination to see the justice done.
7719470 I'll admit, I was hesitant to add Trixie amongst the villains. I'll probably just remove her from the group, although she is an example of what can happen if you don't settle an issue right away. As for Sunset, while true she wasn't banished from Equestria, the comics reveal that she was banished from Canterlot Castle after becoming a cruel pony. While not enough to justify killing her, this is still proof that putting aside a problem (or a problem pony) doesn't fix it.
I'm confused by this. I was never talking about the times when villains were reformed, but the times when the first returned with a desire to cause trouble.
7719418 EXACTLY, and it's the same with their enemies, not every villain can be imprisoned, banished, or redeemed. In fact all the villains that have been locked away always return, Nightmare moon, Discord, Sombra, and Tirek all came back stronger then ever.
7719161 I SO hope everything you said gets brought up in future chapters, cause I just love it when someone is called out on their hypocrisy and bullshit.
If Twillight was that ratteld over hearing that Frank had a daughter, what would her reaction be if she was to learn his whole story?
7719596
Legit dude, hahahah One does not simply stop the Punisher, hehehe.
7719673
As long as Death herself walks beside him, Frank cannot die, no matter how badly he is injured. According to the terms of their covenant, she will walk beside him FOREVER.
7719703
That is poetic as fuck it made me tear up man, shit!
I love it.
7718775 Nightmare Moon, Discord, Starlight {and Sunset given what she was doing} actually took to heart what they were doing and changed. Not everyone will change, but if you remove the possibility, no one will ever change. Hay, Twilight could literally turn this around on him if he tried given that some of these big bads actually did come around and now actively help others and Equestria at large. They did change and they were allowed to have a second chance. Everyone deserves another chance. Not everyone will take it, but that's what makes Equestria a great place to be. Frank's methods are basic, somewhat effective but they aren't perfect or something someone should look up to.
7719703 I wonder… How far does Death's influence reach? Is she aiding him across dimensions? Does she even have authority in this dimension? Or does another Death? Is this Death bound to the contract as well, or is it an independent entity? So many questions.
Of course, that means that if he's on his own, this was even more badass. Because he has no supernatural help. But if Death did aid him, then that kind of detracts from the awesome, doesn't it?
7719952 That part about villains becoming good is what I imagine Twilight's counter argument to be. No matter what Frank says, he'll never be able to convince Twilight that killing is the answer. However, he might be able to make her think about how much damage she could have prevented by taking action early and how lucky she's been with how many villains she's reformed.
7718833 I'd like to see the Flash next, cause there's hardly any crossovers of him?
7720076 How about Wolverine?
7720070 Well a lot of heroes, especially in the Marvel universe, have sort of similar ideals to Twilight, especially with the no killing rule. I imagine Twilight would stand by her morals, but after some deep thought. At the very least, Tartarus would have stricter security and probably used a bit more often.
Of course, so far the stories shown more 'one note' antagonists. More of the mooks you don't think about when the hero goes shooting in action movies. Although, the thieves didn't exactly deserve death honestly. A little beating and thrown to the cops for sure, but eh. Equestria does have cops, laws, and security. It's just that the ponies and most species aren't as aggressive or that the economy is bad. {Which is what forces a lot of people to crime. They feel they have no other choice and have to, but many stop after either going to jail or life turning around for them (or they just find it despicable and stop). It's something that does get me agitated in the few issues of the Punisher I've read.}
That said, this is a morally gray area. No exact right answer, although I'm more of a guy who believes everyone deserves a second chance. Though the Joker and Tirek are the sort of characters who don't, but I'm sure Celestia's tried to reason with Big T over the centuries and nothing coming from it.
7720089 I've seen a few, sadly the best one is canceled
7720089
On the Hunt is this authors Wolverine story.
7720168 Forgot about that one.
7720100
Which begs the question: how's Twilight going to react when The Punisher inevitably faces off against one of the major villains, which at this point is looking to be Tirek? Will her morals cause her to spare the being who destroyed her home and nearly killed her friends? Or will she break and agree the Equestrian would be safer with him dead?
No matter what happens, the battles of morals in this story are going to be just as epic as the battles of fists.
7720206 If I had to guess, I don't think Twilight would be torn up that he was dead. Given how her reaction after he destroyed her home and bastion of happiness she had in Ponyville and all the memories she had was to try and blast him with what appeared to be enough magic to level a town or larger, even she would admit she's at least thought about it. Granted, she'd still stand by her 'no killing' and will probably try to at least capture him but this is where I think she wouldn't fuss Frank about this much other then scold him a bit or something.
7720223 I don't know how she would react, which will make it fun to find out!
Gotta admit, this is one of the most entertaining stories I've read so far on this website, that I've actually been checking daily on my phone for any updates on this story. Keep up the great work!
Too bad the Mirror Portal doesn't lead to his Earth owo
Also. Punisher vs Discord.
Stalemate. Discord can't die, and won't kill.
Oh. By the way. I didn't like how murderous Twilight is here.
Even a tired Twilight isn't murderous.
Even a stressed Twilight isn't murderous.
Multiple times in this chapter she went for the kill. Nope.avi
7721030
She is probably not trying to be murderous but she is running on emotion right now. Emotions tend to make users overpower spells that normally wouldn't be lethal. Perhaps it's a stun spell that is being given to much juice.
7721945
Still...
I hope that, if they meet, Frank shuts down Shining Armor for claiming to be a military commander when he's never even seen a single battle. Frank DESPISES arm-chair military.
