Nice story...good to see a bit of a Crashed and Stranded elements in here. But it seems cliché to put as they were the only survivors. Im curious as to were this story will go and hope to see another chapter soon. Oh and you made me wonder what does that chest have inside. I hope to find out bye.

For a relatively short introduction, you do a good job of setting up this character's backstory. It's interesting and gives a a little insight as to what kind of pony they are.
Im really enjoying this story so far, and I have even gotten to stranded part yet! I like the dynamic between the two sisters. Starry seems to be the more affectionate of the two. At least she shows her affection more. Brave clearly cares about her sister as evidence that she is going with her., despite her complaining. I would really like to know how she got that knife past security. The pacing does seem a little fast. To me it just seems like they aren't in the air that long before they start to crash. Overall though I think it's good.
I must know what is inthat chest! Also I really like their sister bonding moment at the end. I don't much about cars, but I liked the connection they clearly have. I love how resourceful they both are and that they don't waste much time on panicking over their situation after the initial shock wares off. They get straight to work on gathering supplies. I also like that Starry has to calm Brave down; it gives her the chance to play the big sister role! Also I can't help but wonder if they really were the only survivors. A this point there could be a few other ponies on the other side of the mountain. Overall I really enjoyed this chapter!

This was something I was on the fence about as my other projects will have a similar starting introduction for characters that I have made. I'm glad it paid off!
My head canon for this was always magical wrapping paper that somehow stopped the metal detector from picking it up.
I was actually worried about this as I have never been to fond of characters that have to learn everything on the fly, which is why I had these two characters have a backstory dealing with survival skills so they wouldn't have to waste time. My main concern was that the sisters would come off as not flawed enough due to them having already been in this situation before.
I can't wait to see what you think of the rest and once again thank you for the feedback!
