Rain, a teenage mare living in the oppressive factory town of Industead nearly two hundred years after the events of the Mane 6, longed to see Equestria in its former glory. The disaster starting in Canterlot back during the Mane 6's time period supposedly ruined everything she wished she could've seen, or so her town is led to believe. All she knows about Old Equestria is from a journal written by Twilight Sparkle herself before the disaster and what Rain's father told her. While having a rough time with Industead and its citizens as usual, she befriends a mysterious stallion that turns her life around for both the better and worse. When something goes completely wrong after doing the right thing, Rain and her new found and only friend are cast off into the vast, surrounding desert, where she is faced with various tribulations trying to find out for what purpose her life has taken such a turn.

SB, I understand the story is not being updated here on FiMfic, but the future plot, characters, and events have all been twisted and reformed, and it's taken place during the writing of Chapter 7. Also, I've been going under mental and emotional trouble with family and friends. I am really trying my hardest, but Chapter 7 is definitely a kickoff chapter as far as the twisted plot goes. I aplogize and hope that you all can forgive me.

Hello. I have been needing time to myself for a while, there has been a lot of self-exploration and self-criticism, nearly enough to make me break down. But, luckily, with quite a bit of help I was able to push through just a little. My wonderful girlfriend has went through and fixed 98% of grammar and punctuation errors. I am now putting these fixes into play on FiMFic. Thank you all for following my story, and YES, it will still be written.

Thanks for the feedback, it helps a lot. I tried to appropriately slow the pace down so that I could create some more side-plots, and give the reader a break, so to speak. How's my ability to describe scenery? I wanted to improve my skill in doing so.
