I wish this story was longer, 2k words is hardly long enough to do a clop idea justice. Plus, we just see a tiny slice of the experience. Is it implied that this is a death sentence for the human? Hard to say.

I can't really recommend this story the way it's currently written. It has good ideas, but they aren't developed properly. I saw the trigger warning but small word count and I basically went from how I wouldn't find it satisfying, and sadly I was kind of proven right.
