6504726 that is a relief it's always interesting when the displaced who has the power that is considered evil or corrupting and does the opposite with it instead and doesn't take the easy way out by going my character is the bad guy so I'm going to be the bad guy it's always find it more entertaining when they take and buck the trend and go be the good guy or the neutral guy

For the mental image alone of Chris turning himself into a ball seeking fist missile, I am going to track this. Also, I approve of him being a decent guy. With one small caveat. Greed beyond what Greed the avaricious homonoculous can show. My only request is simple, if he lays claim to something, have him put even the most anal retentive dragon to shame with how much effort he puts to ensuring it stays his.
Ok, I think I have an idea why the story got into the denied section... It feels rushed, it's also possible that the reason why it was denied was due to the character... oh... I know what I want to say but I don't know the words for it, he... so far from what I read he doesn't seem like an orange lantern.

6585855 That's the thing about the Orange Lanterns, it's not evil that they're after, it's greed... He suits up and gets into the role of a powerful lantern corps guise in a way that feels far too quick. IIRC, Orange Lanterns have their powers fueled by their greed and so far... he hasn't really shown a noticeable greed. They're typically used as villains because they take and take and take just because it's an item that they want.
He doesn't have to be a bad guy... but having him go
"Where's the closest settlement?"
"It's a few miles that way..."
"Why am I seeing ponies?"
"Because they are there"
The whole thing screams of Telling instead of Showing, as well as having the main character be so Blase about being thrown into a completely different world where it's entirely possible he will NEVER see anyone he cared about ever again comes off as a tad bland.
It's a great idea, it just feels rushed... I think that's why someone put it in the denied folder.

7267883 It would be logical to believe that, but unfortunately, the anwser to your question is YES!! It may be tricky to define the character for each entity though (some more than others). For example, the Butcher could bs easily defined as having a short temper coinciding with his signature emotion, but how would you define Ion when he/she/it (probably gonna be a dude) is geared towards willpower? I could use some assistance in this part of the story.

Mmmm... I don't really watch/read Green Lantern, so most of this doesn't make much sense(to me at least), but just one thing so far:
Chris seems very... accepting. It's like, OK, my power ring is alive and the embodiment of Greed is real. Cool!
