Well at least she is FRICKIN DEAD, that Blue evil Bitch. But in a sense, a new mare who is 1,000,000,000 times better?! You start to confuse me a little bit with the "Soul Swapping" or something. It reminded me of Harry Potter and the Horcruxes.
Oh snap. So much tension...I'm sure not whether to feel dread or excitement!
...
Our baby would starve.
To Be Continued In Part Two... *insert table-flip gif*
My inner marine is pissed
Grrrrr
damn you bastard a two parter noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just know that they will hold the threat of their child dying over their heads in order to get a favorable deal once they learn about it. Fuuuccck
I still hope that when this ends, all this sacrifice and back stabbing was for nothing. It would be a sweet comeuppance that after everything she’s pulled she can’t even say “I did it all to save you all.” I mean imagine finding out the samples from Richard are no longer viable, making any agreement pointless. Or another possibility is the threat of hybrid breakdown/sterility. Like the first generation seems healthy and strong, then when it comes time for babys? Nothing, or at least nothing that’s viable long term. That would be an even better punishment for her, thinking that everything she did was somehow justified, only to find she’s sealed her ponies fate.
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Well played Celestia, well played. I guess the end justifies the means, eh?

Of course it does in her mind, she’s been so focused her ponies survival, she never asked if they deserve to survive. Though another option is that she’s terrified of what happens when she’s the princess of a baron kingdom. Being a princess is all she knows, I mean what does she do with herself if she’s all alone? Take up knitting?
I have this weird feeling that it was Twilight with her insanity who used the spell. I mean she would gladly sacrifice someone for Celestia.
make part of the deal that if anything is broken by the ponies you get to kill Celestia publicly!

“Hey Scootaloo! Wanna learn the magic of Friendship? Hop in my van!”
10215778
10215768
And that is why I love this story. There is no evil antagonist simply for being evil. Celestia has a goal, she is fighting for survival. In animal kingdom nobody cares if your species deserve it, they will eat everything, if it means survival.
Protagonist has a goal, antagonist has a goal, other characters are believable, conflict makes sense.
Granted, I would convince Richard to be a stud in other ways rather than trying to falsely seducing him with my pupil, but hey, maybe it was ok in her mind? Maybe in the past being direct caused more trouble than benefits? Maybe ponies put directly against problem panics and riot and that is why Celestia learned to deal with problems in the roundabout way?
Maybe Zamairaic 10210961 will make chapter about Celestia past, why she learned to be reather sneaky than direct in those kind of problems?
Literally take a year for the next chapter, I wanna see everyone here squirm
But seriously I can't wait to see what happens at the meeting! ooooh I am so excited, plus I just watched the last episode of the clone wars so I am all sorts of HYPE right now!!!!!

Umm... what's to stop Celestia from trying to murder Chrissy on approach to the meeting area?
Uhh... just to clarify, she didn't take on his sister's form, did she? Because that would be the ultimate dick move on ghost sister's part. "I heard you two are trying for a baby. Well have I got a surprise for you, asshole!" Total sibling thing to do.
Also at this point I think that no amount of reformation is going to save Celly & Twi.
Holy Shit... One hell of a chapter. To bad they dont keep Chrysalis body leftovers. We could use it to trick Celestia. O well... Just good Chrysalis dont suffered trough it.
Damn Celestias timing is beyond horrible.
Still it could be used against Celestia. Whats the penalty of not following the agreement after they left?

No mate, re-read the very start
10216025
You're the 1000th comment bud, gratz.
10215974
Hehe
10215711
Gimmie that mark 2 so I can shoot Celestia with it.
Holy shit, that hadn't even crossed my mind when you made the blog post.
10216109
This human is stupid. Lie to agree to something, 'even though the write won't allow it,' than catch the sun royal horse off guard by killing her, and maybe her purple fuck-pet.
10216370
I understood none of what you just said
10216376
This is what I'm saying. Richard is a dummy. What he and bug horse should do is lie to agree what ever the royal horses want. Wait till said royal horses drop their guarded like always. Than place a rusty KNIFE, in the royal horse's corrupted harmony hearts. See what I'm going with this.
10216403
Oh, hehe.
Well, you'll learn next chapter why he can't do that.
10216412
Lookin 4ward 2 it.
Well shit.
10215770
You don't suppose she sacrificed Spike, do you?
God damit
well Chrysalis wanted a baby, she got her wish then shit went down. Shoulda made sure to acheive a happy ending first before baby making to ensure the baby isn't used against you like at the end there.
10217884
10217891
still implied that she knew it was going to happen eventually and could've planned ahead.
then again old magic that requires sacrifice of the innocent always seems to catch anyone targeted with it unprepared nor can you plan for it.
So if I'm understanding things correctly, Emily, through Richard, gave Chrysalis the 'blueprint' to be able to change into a human-esque form?
When you mentioned all the discarded viscera from the aforementioned change, it reminded me of the transformation scene from The Fly. Shit is nightmare fuel and it happened to Chryssi while Richie was asleep right next to her. Gross.
10218153
10218159
I got the feeling you did that on purpose. A subtle enough hint that anyone who has seen the movie would pick it up.
10218222
I considered putting it in, but the transformation alone is a deterrent to some readers. Making it nightmare fuel seemed overkill
A sacrifice of innocence? Celestia, you're mad!
Not only is she intentionally killing them, but even when she learns of the conception we know she won't back down...
Here's to hoping Luna or maybe Cadance can help...
Keep going! ;)
10218269
I suppose it makes sense. An entirely new physical transformation needs room. What do you do? Get rid of the old stuff!
10219076
Pretty much this.
Now that she's obtained the True Form, she can easily switch back and forth between the two.
Well...not easily atm, she's got an extra passenger in one of them. Bound to induce nausea at some point.
10219057
I'm finding it very amusing that NO ONE has understood that line.
Luna once had to sacrifice a colt of twelve years to use Old Magic, solely because you can only use that brand of Old Magic if you're pure of heart.
Now with this in mind, didn't something rather strange happen to Luna recently that might allow her to summon the old magic without a sacrifice?
Everybody freaking out on how Celestia will get the upper hoof because they won't be able to feed their baby, but hey! If the Parlave Oum Pax Dome nullifies all and any magic, that also means there are no magically bound agreements either. I mean, any and all agreement will be solely spoken and written. Chrissy and Richard could just agree to whatever Celestia demands, then, after the Parlave Oum gets its input and is satisfied, it will decompose and all participants regain their powers. With the help of Naerx there, they could even kill Celestia and Twilight on the spot, or brainwash them, or anything. Even if not on the spot, they will be able to break the non-binding agreement whenever they deem fit, in whatever way they want.
An equally evil move would be foalnapping Flurry Heart. Doubt Richard and Chrissy would go that low without moral conflicts, but it's not like Celestia and Luna already haven't. In fact, "that low" has been their basic residence over the centuries, and Twilight... well, she goes wherever Celestia goes. If Naerx is willing to persuade them and they are willing to put their inner morals aside against a ruthless enemy who knows NO morals at all, the ponies will be up for some hard time.
10220280
Oh...you guys are going to hate the twist next chappy.
No foal napping though, that's below Richard and Chrissy to do. They aren't monsters.
10220280
Oh, and while the Dome does nullify any and all magic within...
That does not mean it's own magic.
