One of my parent's cats had to be put down recently, and another has cancer in her paw.
May they each find peace.
We'll see them eventually, everyone's back together on the other side.

I think this is a really lovely way to honor Thatch. She sounds like she was a beautiful young cat. Losing a companion like her is never easy; my dalmatian, Domino, passed away a few years ago. I think about her often to this day. Thinking of her being cared for by Fluttershy makes my heart warm and ache, but in a good way, I think. If you ever wanted to polish this piece, it could really grow into a nice collection of vignettes about Thatch -- maybe based on true stories of her life.
