She has, yes. But if you were flung a few miles to the north, landed in the snow which your species is pretty weak to and you spend probably even days to look after your folk and not finding anything but snow, THEN your voice would be weak at first too. It's not so much about Chrysalis singing badly, it's more about her being too weak to actually focus on singing with all the hunger and cold involved.
