A devastating spell horribly disfigures an innocent unicorn named Tirek and turns him into a centaur. Ponies everywhere shun him and claim he is a monster.

Only Tirek's younger brother, Scorpan sees good in his brother, but the anger and hatred Tirek has for everypony else slowly causes the good inside him to vanish. Tirek sets his sights on Equestria's magic, ready to prove once and for all that nopony messes with him!
