I assumed this was a sequel to "Just give me a reason" however when I was done... I actually see this as a more fitting prequel. Like... This was the moment when Rarity started falling out of love, despite herself.
But then again, it feels a bit awkward, the characters and their affections for one another don't totally fit with that story. Hell, maybe the two aren't even related.
If you could clarify, I'd be delighted. Good fic, too!

It's not actually at all related to JGMaR. I'm in the process of fiddling around with a sequel for JGMaR, however.
5252011 oh seriously? I am hype! I absolutely loved that story. The other tragic romances stories all involve large issues that cause rifts in the relationship, or the stock standard Death. Yours is one of the few I've seen that simply deal with a painful, subtle degradation of the Romance, and it's a beautifully harsh tale.
