Taking place during Hurricane Fluttershy, the tornado lifts the cmc clubhouse, with Applejack and Winnona to a land where everypony looks like ponies she knows, but are acting strange. Follow Applejack as she goes through the book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and finds everyone she knows turned upside down.
This is based and based off of the book. If you have read the book, go ahead, if you have only seen the movie... well then... ummmm prepared to be confused, very confused! Also, i had already started this on a diff website so anything season 3 or past is invalid and i tried to get in as many characters from the show as possible.

I've been throwing it out here and there since 2011, since I'm much too lazy to write it.
Of course, my vision is "The Doctor of Oz", with Doctor Whooves taking the place of the wizard. ("Pay no attention to that pony in the Police Barn!")
And of course NMM as the wicked Princess of the Night. After Season 2, AJ's barn would fall on Chrysalis. Serves that evil cherngelerng right!
Honestly, I think Fluttershy is a far better "Cowardly Lion".

Rarity as the Tin Woodsmare... got rusted searching for gems... kept losing parts of herself cutting herself to pieces with scissors and had to replace them with tin... the only metal she could afford since she keeps giving everything away.

4698213 well, i started the idea before i had found fim fiction and i started a little after season 2 ended. The whole reason it happened then was because at my sister's school, when you were in 4th grade, you read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and she was in 4th grade.
so because of that, i thought,crossover! and looked for art people had made
i was always a bigger fan of the book rather than the movie, so i did it by that (also because more characters.

Fluttershy shows she can be brave when facing the dragon, and a similar scene would play out in my story.
Dash demonstrates that she is highly intelligent, but her general laziness and manner of utilizing it is very different from most ponies. This would be demonstrated by the method she uses to scare off crows, which would be weather-manipulation related, in keeping with her job in the show.
Rarity sometimes appears heartless and selfish, and yet also displays sudden acts of great generosity (in my idea, that comes across early when she reveals that she had to use tin parts because she was rather poor from giving away most of what she makes).
I've also read the book... and also own 7 of the sequels penned by Baum.
