The land of Equestria is ruled under the iron hoof of Empress Twilight Sparkle and her ambassadors. The former ruler tries to take back her kingdom, but fails. In her escape, the old ruler finds herself taken to a version of Equestria very different from her own.

* I personally don't like the plot point of Empress Twilight body swapping. But that's my personal opinion.
Negative:
I only felt that way on a few of the chapters so it's a minor issue. Just be careful.
* Occasionally a chapter feels a little... sparse.
Overall you are doing a good job with this story!

It's really helpful to get feedback on my story
This is my first original work I've started to put up on here (first being based of something else and the other 2 being side stories)
I know the plot point about the switching bodies part may not seem the best right now, I'm the type of writer who likes to plan out things I probably won't write out until many chapters from now.
Also, I'm sorry if my chapters don't seem like enough right now. As a rather new-ish author, I'm still trying to get myself to stop formatting my chapters sort of like short stories. (Blame my launguage arts class for that.)

Cicade is just too quick to anger... and tend to jump to conclusion too much.

I can't help thinking that there is more at play here than Empress Twilight simply being evil and Cicada's Celestia abruptly stopping negociating with Cicada's mother.
The bad guy might not be the most obvious one... and there simply might not be a bad guy.
