Oh, this is going to be fun.

Ooo, this is rather interesting. I certainly like your no-holds-barred use of ye olden speak. It's a little hard to understand, but for me that's drowned out by the charm of it. It actually makes the world feel less made up and more fleshed out. The lead up with Twilight and Spike was a bit confusing, but knowing you it's not because it's a result of bad story telling, but rather I sense you were after something that I simply didn't get.

Also: I'm a little unclear about this war or what exactly they're facing, but even so it is intriguing.

In any event, unless you're really that practiced at the Shakespearean lingo (middle english?), I imagine this took a lot of work to write, so good job, extra kudos for going a distance far greater than anyone else who uses the traditional canterlot talk, and keep it up!

This is quite a pleasant read! Sorry about the long delay from your message. Looking forward to more and thanks for using my drawing :D

The language I'm using (which is actually a form of modern english: shakespeare invented modern english) is called archaic.
