Lyra Heartstrings is a small town mare who has dreams of being a star. Leaving behind everything she has ever known, she goes to chase her dreams in a city where ponies go from nameless musicians to phenomenons overnight.

Octavia is a mare from the big city who has been trained to be great. After running away from the life of constant expectations and ponies looking down at her, she finds herself broke and alone in a city, struggling to make ends meet.

That city is where stars are born, legends are made and there's a second chance for anypony who believes hard enough. Welcome to just one of the many stories Mare-phis has to tell.
