My name is Max Porter. To every one who knows me they see a Recluse, a person who likes to live away from society. However that isn't the true me, not anymore. And to think this all started with a totally unexpected visit.
(Hey everyone I decided to go through and do some minor editing to the story, it kind of strayed from my original plan, but these things happen, and hopefully the story will be better for it.)
Oh and don't forget to leave comments, if you like something tell me what you like. If you don't, same thing. I'm serious people, even though I have an idea about what I'm doing if I don't have people commenting on my work how am I supposed to improve it?

I've read Griffin the Griffin, heck it's on my favorites list. I am in no way, shape, or form trying to turn my story into another version of that, I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to. I'd be lying if I said I didn't pull at least a little inspiration from that story though. However you'll find as the story goes on it will be much different, hopefully. The point is, this story will not be a clone of Griffin the Griffin, besides I have at the very least between twenty and thirty chapter already planned out. Also there is a reason behind the alternate reality tag.

looking good, a few tips though
start a new paragraph every time you switch speakers
while i don't think its required it would help if you make the separation between scenes more clear such as a string of symbols or something similar when you switch scenes
