Pinkie Pie is attacked by ruffians in Ponyville Park. Then things get interesting.

After Rainbow Dash continues to boast about how amazing she is, Applejack makes a challenge with Rainbow in that she has to go one day without using her wings. Being the competitive pony she is, Dash accepts all too willingly. Perhaps some more thinking should've been done on Dash's part.

This story is a sequel to Diplomat at Large

Third in the Diplomacy-verse, and a part of the greater "Powers-That-Be" multiverse. Twilight has returned home after nearly a year, and has a new mission in mind: the formation of a School of Friendship, in which creatures of every species can come to learn the values and methods of friendship, and about the cultures of the different races that make up their world. 

The Midnight Game: This 'activity' starts by summoning a demon, called The Midnight Stallion, and allowing him into your home. In order to keep this demon at bay, you must carry a lit candlestick to light the darkness of the house. Your only task in this game is to survive the night from 12:00 AM until the Midnight Stallion leaves at 3:33 AM. Besides your candle, the only other item you can use is salt, where in an emergency, you may make a salt circle around yourself to keep the demon at bay.

Rules
-You must stay inside the house, and no other lights can be on except for your own candle.
-You must keep moving. Otherwise, the Midnight Stallion will be able to find you easily, and will snuff out your light.
-If your candle goes out, you have ten seconds to relight it. Any later, and you will fall prey to this demon.
-If you exceed ten seconds while attempting to relight your candle, then you must retreat into a salt circle to protect yourself from the demon. Failure to do so will result in your fate falling into the hooves of the Midnight Stallion.
-If you retreat to the salt circle, or if the Midnight Stallion catches you without the candle's light, then you lose the Midnight Game.

Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo decide they want to play the game inside Carousel Boutique. They see no wrong in it, but like most pagan rituals... Almost everything is wrong with it.

Rated Teen for horror content.... Like actual, 'crap your pants in a dark room' content.

Pondering on how he behaved at the Sisterhooves Social, somepony is quite competitive and wants to challenge him with a deal that could help him with the upcoming Cider Season. But if he loses, well its going to be quite a earful from his Sister.

Forged in fires of magic and charcoal. Worn with pride, damaged in battle after battle in times when ponies were no strangers to war. Repaired again and again. A regal mare's suit of armour tells a small but significant part of her story.

This is quite the tough story to properly tag. Anyhow, despite the title, this story has no relation to the Halo universe. This is a tentative foray into a new form of narrative style on my part, so any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!
