Roundabout Recluse

Two steps forward, one step back. I'll get there.

There are cards for brothers, sons, and other family members, so it should be easy to find one for Spike.

It should be, but it isn't.

For a friend.

Twilight: "I want to get something special for Spike, but I need ideas. What can I get for an adolescent whom I have owned since he was born, who dutifully does all the cleaning and arranging and cooking at the library, who sleeps at the foot of my bed, and who has always been totally devoted to me?"

Rarity: "Emancipation."

Welcome! I'm pretty new too, so I get it

Hello there. Have a short review. This was a nice little read. I don't know whether you're planning on writing any more ponyfic, but on this evidence I hope you will.

Thank you! I might, if I have the time.

I recently had a seasonal job at an electronics and appliance store this December. Two days before my stint was over, I went to the local paper store. I wanted a card that simply said ‘Thank you’, you know, to show appreciation for how kind my colleagues have been. I didn’t find what I was looking for, so instead I designed a card digitally and had it printed out.

Also, for a first story, this is incredible! Rarity and Twilight are natural, Spike was totally in the story without actually being here and your opening narration was insanely good. All in all, excellent work and into ’Best of Slice of Life’ this goes!
