As the newest alicorn studies her developing magic, she will learn an unexpected lesson about the power of words.

Rarity, formerly an artistic and well spoken pony of high class, is currently a medicated mush on her fainting couch. Twilight Sparkle pays her a visit to make sure she's alright.

As the ponies of Equestria sleep, Princess Luna looks after their dreams and keeps the nightmares at bay. But as Luna herself sleeps, she is plagued with her own nightmares, brought on by the guilt of her actions as Nightmare Moon. Recent events have prompted her to face these nightmares, however, because nothing can last forever.

Sometimes waiting at the bus stop with your sworn enemy can lead to some deep conversations.

After the conclusion of "My Little Dashie", life goes on for the narrator and Dashie. They do indeed remember each other and all the time they shared, but how can Dashie let her daddy know this crucial fact? Long after Dashie has left his life, he decides to catch up on all the episodes he missed by cutting off when he adopted Dashie. As he watches, suspicion of her lasting memories grows on his part, while she attempts to find a way to communicate her situation to him. Pasts are revealed, shedding significant light on the circumstances of Dashie's adoption, and Dashie tries to throw in an on-screen hint that only he will grasp the true meaning of.

So, this is LONG overdue. I wrote this back in October, inspired both by the original story and by a picture by CSImadmax over on deviantART. However, I did not have a FIMFiction account at the time and merely posted the story on my deviantArt account as a link to the Google Doc that housed it (link if you don't believe me: http://amimizunofan22.deviantart.com/art/My-Little-Dashie-A-Moment-265671483). Nonetheless, I figured that posting it here would help spread it a bit more. So, without further ado, here is My Little Dashie: A Moment. Joining the Wonderbolts means a lot of things. It means fame, glory, honor. Sometimes, it means simply... flying home alone.

Hearth's Warming Eve. The wondrous celebration of friendship, warmth and joy, held during the most cold and unforgiving days of winter.

Everypony wishes for something on this day: presents, good fortune, excitement, perhaps even true love. Whatever it may be, above all, they wish for nothing but happiness.

Every year, by the end of this day, some of them will find that their wish had not been granted.
