During a party hosted by Pinkie Pie, Minuette and Twilight agree to host an intervention while Berry’s guard is down.

But, what is the true reasoning behind her new, self-destructive behavior?

Can the town drunk sober up? ...Maybe?

Berry Punch has a horrible drinking problem, but all she sees is a cycle that she indulges in. She wants to get out of it now, but why move on from something that tastes so good? Why move on from something that becomes natural to do?

There's nopony Berry Punch cares for more than her daughter, Ruby Pinch. But she's been dating Carrot Top recently, and figures now's the time to introduce Pinchy to the idea. Carrot's about to learn, though, that Pinchy's got very strict guidelines for what constitutes a good new Papa for her.

When I had arrived in Equestria, I had been scared, miserable and alone, but then I had met Magnum and Pearl. The two had generously given me a roof over my head and a warm meal for my trouble. Years went by and the two became the closet thing I had to a family. When they had their first child Rarity I was given the honour of god father. I was later made legal guardian of both Rarity and the new addition Sweetie belle. Nearly three years later I would be hit with a devastating blow.

A single letter was all it took to shatter my world. I found myself the legal guardian of the two orphaned foals when I can barely afford to feed myself. Grieving and falling deeper into debt what can I do.?

Few things bring as much joy to Berry Punch as riding trains. Because of this, she was overjoyed to find a misprinted timetable that listed a new train travelling to Canterlot in the dead of night- -and even more pleased to discover that rumors of a new, experimental type of engine were true.

Except that this train does not run quite on time. And not many ponies seem to be willing to ride it, despite how many cars there seem to be. And how everything is oh so silent. Or, as Berry Punch begins to discover, something she would rather not know about the last train car...

With the Mane 6 called away from Ponyville on an extended friendship mission, Special Agent Sweetie Drops is forced to wage a one-mare war against an inadvertent ursine apocalypse.

Can Sweetie Drops overcome the well-meaning but self-destructive incompetence of her “Best Friend” and seemingly everypony else in town? And—more importantly—will Berry Punch fulfill her drink order before the bar’s destroyed, too?
