In this story which is One more of the pile, you can see certain genres like romance, mystery, suspense, fantasy, horror, terror, etc, etc, etc. I do not post very often but I promise to finish the story.

As he stares down a red, tuxedoed unicorn, the pink-and-green maned black Earth Pony prepares to fight for his life.

I'm undecided on whether to add the Romance tag or not. I didn't describe the main character in this first chapter, but I'm going to add more details in later chapters. I'm using the "Alternate Universe" tag because this clearly isn't the Equestria that we all know. For example, there are cars.

It's Hallows Eve, or as some would call it, Nightmare Night. In Ponyville, everypony's having a fantastic time! Only, that time will soon run out. In a graveyard not too far away, a blue hoof strikes through, leaking with Negative Energy. The Nightmare has awoken, and has taken back control!

Meanwhile, close by, a Halcandrean in Pony form by the name of Doctor Vohr T. Tex received this negative charge and went to investigate. Soon, he shall see how real Nightmares can be. They will see. Both him AND her...
