Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Chapter 1: The back story Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

Before I tell you my story of how I became a magical Unicorn in the land of Equestria I will give you a bit of a back story on how I got to Equestria.

On a normal weekday I would usually sit around and draw whatever came to my mind, or if I had nothing in my mind to draw I would sit around and play games. If I was still rather bored, I would venture out into the wilderness on my bike. One day I was so bored, I decided I wanted to go on an adventure to the local library, which is rather unusual for me as I don't think many libraries have many Manga’s.

So there I was, stood in front of this mysterious library. It was mysterious because I had never been to one before and it was rather rare to find me near any book, including Manga’s. This Library looked old and dirty on the outside, but as I stepped inside, I felt a warm sensation come over me as the heaters above the door were showering me with warm air. I walked in a little closer to the reception desk where I was greeted by a happy librarian.

I asked her "where I could find the Manga’s"

she said “down the far door, turn left further down the corridor turn left again and then you'll find them”

“thank you” I replied.

As I went on my way, not knowing if I would find any good Manga’s down there, I continued to the Manga’s that she pointed me to. After arriving, I saw there were not many Manga’s and decided why not continue wandering around this mysterious library and find something else to read, I wandered around for hours on end until I eventually discovered a dark secret area to this library. I walked in to this dark, secret area, on the walls there were a few warning signs begging me not to walk into this area. A cold chill ran down my spine as I made the first step, however, this didn’t prevent me from continuing further into this strange place. Walking around, I discovered a vast amount of old leather books. Most of these didn't really interest me as they were about history but I came across a book on an oak table. The book was all by itself, covered in a thick layer of dust. As I picked the book up, wiping away some of the dust, I noticed a strange symbol on the front of the book. I looked a little closer and noticed it was some sort of arcane magic symbol. I thought it's a little strange but it looks like all the other books although it was a bit damaged, so I didn't see any harm in taking a look inside. The book gave me chills just before I opened it. After I had opened the book, a warm sensation came over me, this book looked to be just another history book but its focus was not about our world. As I started to read, I learned that this book was in fact about a magical place called Equestria. I had no idea what this place held within it, my interest and fascination with Equestria grew, and I decided to read further into it. I found myself interested in the idea that there is another world where magic was as common as trees in a forest and no humans to be found.

My captivation with this place grew exponentially when I discovered the many other creatures that reside in Equestria, such as the Unicorn and the Pegasus. I discovered I was becoming more and more fascinated by the unicorns as I have always been amazed with them and often wondered how their magic works. I kept reading, I wanted to see what other creatures that live beyond our plane of existence and this other world. I wanted to figure out a way to get there, which, luckily I found the book contained a backwards written proverb in this book. Upon reading this proverb aloud, a portal to Equestria burst open, flooding this dark, dingy section of the library with a bright, white light, penetrating every dark corner of the room. Inside the white light, I could see the small portal, humming gently and slowly growing. I held onto this inexplicable book and without thinking of any sense consequence, I jumped into the portal. As I was floating through the portal, I had time to think about what I had just done, I thought of everything and everyone I was leaving behind. Somehow, falling through this portal felt like years were passing by, I had plenty of time to think. Looking around this strange, blue environment, I could see a vast amount of sceneries flashing past me in a blur, visible only for the blink of an eye. These locations were often filled with people, creatures and monsters. I was often unable to see the transition between each flash of imagery. As they grew faster, so did I. I could feel myself reaching the end of this journey, the end of the tunnel was nearing, I could feel myself pulled towards it, faster and faster.

Suddenly I was expelled from the other side of the portal, thrown onto some sort of hard marble type of floor which was cold. Looking around the place where I had landed it seems like it was a small room with not much in but, there was one odd thing that caught my eye some sort of mirror where the portal was located. The mirror was oddly in the shape of a horseshoe with large circle base the bottom which had smaller horseshoes around the outside of it the big horseshoe that was surrounding the portal had some sort of gems embedded into it. I looked back through the portal, I could see the library, it seemed so close I could touch it, yet, at the same time, too far to reach. I tried to put my hand through the portal, to see if the image was as real as it seemed, but something blocked me, something was keeping me here. I was trapped.
