Season 1 Episode 1 - "The Restoration of an Old Castle" (Part 1)
A white Unicorn stallion with red hair and green eyes named Jason trots through the Yaetarium Groceries & Pharmacy's automatic door with a brown bag filled with groceries and medicine strapped on his torso to exit the store. Behind him, there are two ponies; a brown Pegasus mare with blue hair and yellow eyes named Hannah and a yellow Earth stallion with grey hair and blue eyes named Kyle. Hannah has a brown bag strapped on her torso just like Jason, while Kyle does not have a brown bag. They trot through the store's automatic door to exit the store after Jason did. As they trot on the concrete pathway back to Yaeville (the capital of the Yaetarium Kingdom), they talk about their day.
"Man, that was a very long shopping spree," Kyle said, exhausted, "but it sure was worth it!"
"I agree with you, Kyle. I can't wait to relax in our castle after all of this trotting is over," Hannah exclaimed, also exhausted.
Jason then says, "Oh, but Hannah, we still have some chores to do around the castle! We have to get all these groceries and medicine into the storage properly, for instance."
"But-" Hannah realizes that complaining about it is pointless and stops herself. Hannah sighs and disappointingly says, "Okay, I guess... I hope it doesn't take too long."
"I'm sure it will only take an hour," Kyle reassures Hannah. "Well, I hope."
They keep occasionally talking while they trot on the concrete pathway and through Yaeville. Many ponies said hello to them when they were trotting through the pathway of Yaeville, with houses and stores on the side. During trotting, Hannah's friend trotted up to the group. This pony is a blue Unicorn mare with glittery purple hair and brown eyes named Jane. She often trots with the group and talks with Hannah until they leave the town, and that's what she does today also.
Jane notices the bags and says, "I see that all of you went shopping today. What's in there?"
"Oh, just groceries and medicine," Hannah answered. "How have you been, Jane?"
Jane answers that with, "I've been feeling pretty good! I have made quite a lot of bits from my lemonade stand! If this keeps up, I will be able to buy my very own Statue of the King! It's just the statue I need to finish my statue collection! It costs 1,000 bits!
"How many bits you got now?" Hannah asked.
"About 320 bits right now!" Jane answered.
"Wow. That's a lot of bits for a lemonade stand job," Jason said, surprised. "Well, good luck with your statue quest!"
"Thank you!" Jane called back. The group continues trotting until they reached the exit of Yaeville. That's when Jane left.
"I'll see you all later!" Jane called to them as she ran back to her home.
They trotted through the exit and border of Yaeville and continued to the three paths. The first one leads to their castle, named the Yaetarium Castle. The second one leads to another town named Hattenton, a smaller town but still very lively. The third one leads to another kingdom named the Faritium Kingdom, one of the rival kingdoms to the Yaetarium Kingdom. They chose the first path, of course. They trotted through the long concrete road. But they started to see something very strange about the castle. Kyle was the first to notice and said to Jason, "Is it just me, or is the castle on fire?"
"On fire? What?" asked Jason, confused.
"Look at the castle closely," Kyle instructed Jason. "Does it look like it's on fire to you? It certainly does to me."
Jason looks closely at the distant castle. Jason worriedly says, "Huh... The castle does look like it's on fire. I hope it really isn't on fire!"
"I'm sure it's just the sunset," Hannah reassured Jason. "Besides, it's late evening. We probably have absolutely nothing to worry about!"
Jason and Kyle stops worrying for a bit and the group says nothing else that's important for a while. But the closer they get to the castle, the more fiery it seems to be. The group's worrying comes back.
"Hannah, are you sure it's just a sunset?" asked Kyle. "Because it's starting to look more like it's on fire..."
"Nonsense! And besides, the Yaetarium Castle isn't even made of wood!" Hannah explained. "Unless if it is a special fire or something, but that's unlikely. I don't think that type of fire even exists."
"Well, that's a very strong sunset indeed. Stronger than normal," Jason said. "I wonder why? Whatever. Let's just keep trotting."
But it only gets worse. As they keep trotting, they keep noticing things that are wrong with the castle. The blue skin of the castle has turned brown to almost black. Some parts of the castle are missing, like the Yaetarium Flag and parts of the roof. The group soon realizes that it's not just a very strong light from the sunset, and that the castle is actually on fire. They ran to the castle and stopped to see a horrible sight. Literally all of the castle is on fire. Some parts are missing or broken off, like the doors and windows. They could even see the dead and burned bodies of King Yaeirity and his guards.
"NOOOO! OUR CASTLE!!" Jason cried.
"What the hell happened...?" Hannah said, in shock.
"I don't know, Hannah," Kyle answered Hannah, in shock. "I just don't know..."
A large group of Yaetarian ponies are watching in horror as the castle slowly burns down and decays. Many ponies are either crying or staring at the destruction in shock. Firefighter ponies have just arrived to try and douse the flames. More and more ponies came to watch the horrifying scene. The Yaeville and the Hattenton police came. Photographer ponies of all race took a picture of this scene. Even Faritium ponies came to watch the tragedy in shock. The tragedy has soon become all over the news in the Yaetarium Kingdom, and in the Faritium Kingdom as well. Jason, Hannah, and Kyle is now staying in the Yary Hotel in Yaeville from now on.
