When Carrot Top decides that she needs more in her life she moves away from her home farm and into the nice town of Ponyville. As she gets adjusted into Ponyville she learns to loosen up and meets new friends while trying to stay sane in the midst of insanity. Has she has gotten more than what she bargained for in this strange and cracked-up town? Follow Carrot Top in her new life through the pages of her diary and through third person perspective!

Unbeknownst to all of Equestria, Doctor Whooves secretly works undercover for the Canterlot Royals, assigned with the job of combating any situation that could cause public outcry across Equestria. With the help of his trusted personal gardener Carrot Top, Whooves solves the biggest crimes in the most unusual ways!

Following an attempted robbery, Doctor Whooves is assigned to accompany a bullion train on its way to Canterlot. But it seems the bandits plan to strike again, and this time it looks like they might just succeed...

Carrot Top's best friend crashes a balloon into her garden.

Originally written as an entry for Everfree Northwest 2021's Iron Author speed writing contest, where it won an honorable mention. I recommend checking out everyone's entries, they were all amazing.

The original draft was shorter than the word limit for FIMFiction, so consider this version an "extended cut" of sorts. Some additional dialogue was added, and some lines were rearranged, but it's as close to the original draft as possible. I've added the original, shorter draft -- which is the one I prefer -- as the second chapter.

Colgate, Berry Punch, Ditzy Doo and Carrot Top have been friends for a long time. A stallion named the Doctor shows up and Ditzy runs off with him. After Ditzy left, Carrot Top goes into deep depression. Berry Punch is having acholol problems and can't take care of her sisters Berry Pinch and Piña Colada. It's up to Colgate to keep their friendship alive.

Dinky the Discoverer gets it into her head that the world needs a scientific study of cuddling, embracing, snuggling, and all that good wholesome stuff that makes life truly worth living.

Unfortunately for Golden Harvest, who needs the time to prepare for an important festival, this isn't a joke. Fortunately for Derpy, this is a golden opportunity to prove she's not a joke.

With all the silly little conflicts going on, Golden Harvest can't offer much in the way of guidance, much as she'd like to. (Nor can Derpy, though for more conventional reasons). Still, Dinky's not a quitter. She will rise up and face the call of duty.

The trick, of course, is to hear it over all this shouting...

All over Equestria and its neighboring countries, war rages. Nations rise and fall as faceless soldiers die and their cookie-cutter families weep over drab graves.

Discord, the ruler of Equestria and one of the most influential people in the world, decides that drastic measures must be taken to end the war. To accomplish this, he collects the holders of the Elements of Harmony and their friends from around Equestria to give them a very important mission.

The mission? Kill the aggressors of the war, Princesses Celestia and Luna.

But once the ragtag group of heroes assembles and sets out, things do not go as smoothly as Discord planned. Tensions are high as the travelers try to complete their mission and try to uncover the truth.

Are Celestia and Luna the ones to blame? Will they complete their mission? Will they survive? Will they ever be the same?

Doctor Whooves is an inventor turn time traveller who had fought against evil on a number occasion but is he perpared for the clumsy and socially awkward Derpy Hooves.

And what about these strange feelings that are beginning to surface. Will the Doctor be able to figure them out while perventing one of his oldest and most dangerous enemy from taking over the world.

Lets hope so.
