After weeks of going over applications, the Wonderbolts open up their academy for the next four months, leaving Spitfire, Soarin and Fleetfoot to train the new cadets to work together. Being in charge of a bunch of cadets each trying to prove themselves is never easy.

Raindrops has trouble sleeping.

She starts thinking about her life.

When Rainbow Dash realizes that the ponies around her could be experiencing what she was feeling from the mysterious dark cloud that has opened up in the sky above her head, she knows she has to do something about it- what she doesn't know is that if she does, she may never see her friends again. Follow the adventures of Rainbow Dash and her five best friends (and a tag-along mare) as they embark on a journey to try to rescue the loyalest of all pegasi, and as the winged, rainbow-maned pony struggles to find the faith in herself to stay colorful- inside and out.

Ditzy Doo's boss has had enough of her at work. He comes up with a plan to get her fired. Not only fired but humiliated, and broken. Then, and only then, will Ditzy be ready to be a grown up and put her nick name of Derpy Hooves behind her. At lest that what her boss thinks.

I lived in Ponyville at that time with my father: an old Pegasus by the name of Structure, Lewis Structure. He worked at the rainbow factory, manufacturing spectra. He didn't talk much about his job but it paid pretty well and we were hardly living in the ditch. I never knew my mother, though, judging from the stories my father told, she was quite the filly; she was a Unicorn, so my father said, with a coat like velvet and eyes like polished marble. Sometimes I wonder if things would have been different if she hadn't left but, truth be told, I don't think it would have made a difference either way.

Thundercracker is a decepticon by choice sure, but he isn't entirely supportive of the cause. He often disobeys Megatrons orders to his leaders anger. White Lightning is a social pegasus who loves meeting new creatures. When five metal giants invade her town, she befriends one who protected her.

After witnessing Princess Celestia's daughter and prized pupil get killed in front of them trying to fight off Nightmare Moon, six mares decided to step up and protect their small town. The unlikely group finds a lot more about themselves during this trek.

After becoming a Wonderbolt, it's all Cloudchaser talks about. Wonderbolt this, Wonderbolt that and Flitter is getting sick of constantly being upstaged by her sister. It's like everything she does is overlooked by her sister and her achievements, especially in her parents eyes. Having enough and finally saying something, she decides to make her own mark in the world. She surprises herself when she finds a unicorn and a dragon on the exact same quest. Together, the trio faces obstacles and adversaries together and more.
