Taking Place before Twilight left Canterlot to Ponyville to meet her eventual friends, Twilight got a Special Present from her Teacher and Mentor, Princess Celestia, which was an Ancient book that features Ancient Spells, Twilight being very eager, decides to cast one of the spells, but in doing so, She let herself fall into a Trap that she wasn't sure she would be able to get out of with some grave dangers ahead.

Cadance has long been a friend of the Sparkle famly. She went with them on their vacations, joined in their cookouts, spent the night over, was trusted to foalsit Twilight when she was little, and even allowed to marry the love of her life, Shining Armor. There's no pony she could love more. Okay, maybe just one. But why couldn't she figure it before the wedding?

Princess Twilight Sparkle took the Equestrian throne several years ago. Anon, her human friend, works at the castle as an advisor for her. However, lately he has been disappearing right after work, and Twilight is curious as to why. On top of that, he isn't the only one acting strangely, as her mom has been acting very dodgy around her too. Twilight has some suspicions as to why this is.

Night Light's daughter is going off to study with Princess Celestia at the palace. That's a good thing... right?

It didn't matter to her much, so long as Sunny did her work, and Velvet hers. But as the seasons pass by and their acquaintance grows, Velvet finds that perhaps she and Sunny are more alike than she could have ever imagined.
