Pyre Fahren never expected that things between Bright Mac and Pear Butter could have gone so sour since his first meeting with the fated couple. Determined to set things right, he goes to the end of his wits to make sure his closest friends feel happiness once again - before their lives together.

As a filly, Applejack is the most friendly pony other than her mom. When another filly moves into the farm across the street, she and the filly quickly become friends. The two go through practically everything together. School, houses burning down, family members passing.

In a small bar on the edge of Ponyville, two ponies will face off in a fierce competition to find out one thing: Who is the superior drinker; Neigh Jersey-born Hondo Flanks, or Ponyville native Buttercup Apple? Only time, many glasses of cider, and plenty of stories and laughs will tell.

The night time wedding leads to cuddles under the stars as they come to terms with the Pear family's exit from Ponyville.

The following day, Pear Butter does her best to settle into her new family. They also have fun getting to know each other more as husband and wife.

Starlight Glimmer finds a spell that can bring ponies back from the dead for one day, from sunrise to sunset on the next day. As a surprise for the Apples, she decides to bring back Applejack, Apple Bloom, and Big Macintosh’s parents for a day.

This is the first installment in the Perfect Pear Chronicles.

It came from the depths of the Everfree; a plague unlike anypony had ever encountered. What began as a simple oddity became a nightmare that very nearly plunged Ponyville into a darkness from which it might never have recovered from.

And Bright Macintosh was there to see it all. To bear witness to the event that would forever be known only as... the Trouble.
