Twilight Sparkle thought her relationship with Timber Spruce was solid—until she started noticing the way her heart raced around Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Confused by lingering touches, stolen glances, and mixed signals, she struggles to understand her feelings.

Applejack, steady and reliable, hides her emotions behind quiet patience, afraid of ruining their friendship. Rainbow Dash, bold in everything but love, masks her feelings with teasing and bravado. The tension between them grows as moments of almost-confessions and jealous misunderstandings pile up.

When Twilight and Timber drift apart, the truth becomes harder to ignore. But with three hearts tangled together, admitting their feelings is anything but simple.

(This story is based on a song I came across of its called More Than A Friend by: Girli I recommend listening to it to help get the vibe of the story, This story might get a little mature I'll put warnings in those chapters. Also since i can't use the lyrics i will do my best to work around the lyrics and just have chapters based on them)

Humans were once as natural a sight in the land of Equestria as all of the other mammals that called the continent their home. Their dexterous hands, highly developed brains, complex social structures, and capacity to make tools and shelter made them nearly like ponies and other intelligent creatures. Thanks to their sheer adaptability, humans were rugged survivalists, living in Equestria until five thousand years ago.

However, it is common knowledge among paleontologists that humans were driven to extinction by the raw force of magic. Astonishingly, humans lacked any ability to wield or passively interact with thaumaturgical energy. This left them vulnerable to magical monsters and were unable to prosper as ponies, minotaurs, griffins, and other creatures did. Humans became outcompeted by other intelligent creatures in terms of acquiring and defending valuable resources and lacked native resistances to magical force. Hunted by various monsters, they died out well before the unification of the pony tribes, becoming reduced to a collection of fossils at best and fixtures of legend at worst.

But magic is a strange and at times unpredictable thing to reckon with, and a chance occurrence would bring this once extinct creature back from the dead. Equestria is no less dangerous a place for humans than it was five millennia ago. It will take a good amount of luck for this magic-less species to survive in a land that has long since left it behind.
