Hello everyone this is a important update for Student of Friendship. Now I know a lot of you are probably wondering where it's going, and the truth is I have no idea. I have ideas but nothing solid at the moment. Typically what I do is write until something sounds good and then brain storm it until I get the end result I want. In this case I don't know what I want to do.
Now it's on to some of the other characters that have gotten a significant number of episodes devoted to them. First and foremost is what was supposed to be the new mane six, but like many other things in Season 8 turned out underdeveloped and underutilized, the student six (also sometimes called the young or creature six). We've already explored how they stack up as characters, but what about their episodes? Well, that's what we're here to find out.
Hey guys, how's it going? It's been a while since I gave a legitimate update on how things are going. I'm here to remedy that. Not gonna lie, the last few months have been tough. Juggling writing with work, life, hockey, and everything else going on has not been a pleasant experience. I'm trying to set up an hour each day where all I do is write, but I've never gotten much done during those times. After all, as someone famous (who was quoted by the great Shakespearicles) once said,

It's clear that the Tree of Harmony has a special connection to the Young Six, but it's debatable which Element goes with which character. This makes me wonder if the Elements evolved into new virtues, similar to the way the Elements developed from the Pillars of Light. Just for fun, though, I'm going to attempt to pair the students with the current Elements. Two of the choices seem to be universally accepted among bronies, but my other four picks might be controversial.

college takes up a majority of my time. when i had the urge to write, pony was being updated and i managed to spit out in a sea of stars. for now pony is on hiatus as i've just been too frazzled mentally to keep working on chapter five, and being bugged to update it means it's now no longer a priority for me to do anything with it.
in the meantime i'm probably going to do more one shot stories just so i don't lose my touch.
Even if they get some kind of role in the upcoming finale, at this point my opinions of the student six (or the young six or the creature six, whatever you wanna call them) have pretty much been set into stone. Over the last month or so, I've been writing a colab with Flutterpriest. It involves BDSM, it involves Celestia, and it's actually...kinda... romantic and stuff in the long run.
Contemplating giving Luna a student, similar to how Celestia took on students, but Luna teaches them about dreams, the dream realm, fighting nightmares and the like. While Celestia teaches her students to be kind, caring, and as altruistic as is mentally healthy, Luna teaches her students how to protect those of Equestria from threats the military cannot quite handle and those which the Elements of Harmony may have more difficulty against.
