fanfiction.net now has code to prevent you from copying text from its stories. So if you want to quote from them (like, in a comment), you have to view the page source code and copy from there. There's no download option. I don't know if there used to be.

Am I the only one who thinks Fanfiction.net's system is horrendously flawed and/or outdated?
I wouldn't really think much of it, but I've been using AO3 a lot more recently, and when compared to that, it's utter shit. And then Fimfic is even better - all hail to our lord and saviour knighty, never seen a better system for a website like this, even if it is not perfect.

No, but seriously, why is Fanfiction so awkward to use? It feels like it's from 2006!

I was browsing through my notifications on Fanfiction.net, when I saw one that caught my eye on my Star Wars: Rebels and Destiny crossover, which has been doing quite well if I say so myself. It was a positive review, but the guy mentioned a "hater" in it. Naturally, I wanted to see what they meant by that. I read a rumour on Tumblr about the shutting down of fanfiction.net. Whether it's true or not, it is obviously alarming. It would be devastating to see a website that's been around for 20+ years go bye-bye.

Thankfully, I saved soft copies of my 4 fics in my external hard drive. They're also available to read in Wattpad.

For those of you who have fics in FFN, you might want to save your own copies in your computers and/or publish them in different sites for precautionary measures.

To anyone who is still out there and watching this channel after so much inactivity, unannounced disappearing acts and broken promises...well, hello, for starters. And secondly, I am sorry for giving everyone the run-around so much.
