    Even Electronics Expire

It's official, my household holds one the last remaining Satellite series of Toshiba's computers: considering they'd stopped making them several years ago, I should've been surprised by how fast technology itself has changed; however, this isn't about the future itself but the past thereof. Around last week, my first laptop from August 2012 has stopped working completely: somehow it must have

    July's End Special

As you may know by now, this month is fast approaching its closure and along with it the end of summer; while this is nothing new so to speak of, what's not is the fact that I've started up a PayPal account late last year following my father's hospitalization due to an overdose: thankfully, he's still doing great as of yet. Either way, I can see that no new contributions have been made since the

I Should've Done This A Long Time Ago

Well, you've read the title well enough on its own and yet you're wondering about why it's there all of the sudden: after all, my previous blog was over nine months ago and even then, this should've been done a long time ago; nevertheless, it's about time for an update since I'd taken the liberty of writing some new stories recently as well as currently writing more as of currently. In any case,

Hi, it's Fireflower with even another new announcement, this time with something to grab your attention, hence the title; to be honest, I was going to go for a KND vibe since they pride themselves on acronyms and yet between it and allcaps, this option should do it for me: for those who had been staying with me, I'd recently finished writing Millennial Mountainside Metropolitans, something that I should've done a long time ago. Now, this post should serve as an update to tell you what I'm behind on and how far I've came several years ago, especially since I'd been meaning to tell you oh so much throughout the passing times; after all, I've gotten nothing else better to do than to get whatever it is off of my chest ASAP, especially since I hate boredom very much, just like the next individual so to speak of.

First off, I'd been able to work on finishing the story in its entirety, even going so far as to include Twilight Sparkle herself very late into the game: I know for a fact she's supposed to be the true example of a successful female character in the original timeline and with good reason, besides the story and the like; after all, I like her too and the fact that no one in the mainstream media, let alone ones that tout two separate yet equally problematic narratives, mentions her positively is distressing on its own. At least, I would've been able to anticipate the backlash ensuing in regards the females appearing throughout the story so far, especially considering how I'd started the saga off with Ocular Spectral Therapy: compared to the original source material, this story is by no means appropriate for children, let alone to be published by the likes of Hasbro itself in general, something that even an outsider can see very clearly overall.

Secondly, since I'm going to keep on writing for the time being, I'll admit that getting dislikes are nothing new since I'd signed on and submitted my stories, one crucial thing that sat it apart from my homebase at fanfiction.net; as a matter of fact, I also happened to have started writing over a decade ago with at least a couple stories under my belt before having bothered to watch My Little Pony: these stories were about Yin Yang Yo, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Team Fortress 2, and Regular Show. In any case, I must confess that although I've gotten some prestige for writing on fimfiction since July, I also happen to have another name I've used to write my fanfic on fanfiction.net: it's PenGator3, though this my current screenname on the website as the previous names were Dominique Amino and, more primordially, Shonen Sanzo; in addition, I also have an account on fictionpress.net under the screenname of Jhonen Harper with a fair share of writings, most of which is fiction, like all fanfics.

Back on topic, I'm starting to take college courses again, this time on Thursday nights to attend US History II to go through the motions of my seemingly misspent life: as a longanimous student, I've regretted letting my lack of focus get the better of me even before I'd even started graduating high school several years ago; even before attending high school, I'd wanted nothing more than to make a name for myself as a cartoonist, a famous one at that so to speak. Over the years since my dwindling youth, even I'd know far too well about how every single thing has to come to an end here and there overall: this very TV show, though influential on its own, is no different on its own though it's more than just that beneath the very surface in its entirety; as a matter of fact, My Little Pony wasn't the first girls' show and it's most certain won't be the last either.

In any case, earlier this year, my parents' car broke apart a bit on the way home from college after I'd registered for class this semester: I'd been meaning to tell y'all earlier as soon as I'd finished this story yet certain things had come up again, like before; nevertheless, I'll say that the rear left tire blew out and took pieces of metal that gave the region its shape and form overall. Considering that the damage was near the gas tank, I'd ought to be considering myself grateful that the car didn't blow up and/or catch fire that afternoon; of course, what did bother me was the fact that before my father and I'd reach college, we've been hearing strange noises coming from the car, presumably from the tires in question: in hindsight, it'd seems that tire pressure and maintaining balance within them all should be taken into careful consideration next time.

Lastly, I want to say that I'm still looking forward to writing whatever I please, especially the clopfics since I'm in the process of writing one of them already; I'll send out a hint by saying despite the regal appearances, Blueblood will not be appearing in any of them at all, especially considering who'll be starring in them: as a matter of fact, the first of these will also have a rather surprising appearance in said clopfic overall. Speaking of which, I'm planning a sequel to W5V which will come out this year and it'll be just like the Rosemound story but taking place in Trottingham in the winter; of course, you would've known that had you bothered to read any of the stories in question so to speak, especially considering the subtle hints here and there: one of them is that it'll remind you of that episode of Black Dynamite where there's a porn parody of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

To help pass the time for you all, here's a dramatic reading of my story, A Second of Sanity, by Rakkit Brony below; as always, this is Fireflower signing out...
