I haven't exactly given up on it quite yet, but here's the thing: if I ever do continue it, I'm not going to continue this incarnation of the story. Rather, I'd be completely reworking and rewriting it from the ground up. I almost forgot something; I re-edited all the chapters for IHAP, which means... the story is going to be closed. It'll be back once I post the new edited chapters and new chapters. Another thing is that one of the chapters are revamped so it's not the original idea I had; I'll explain about that later, all that's needed to be known is IHAP will be on hiatus, literaaly. Also, since the story is going through major changes, I recommend re-reading. Sorry.

It happened.

The test results have finally come back and my father indeed has a malignant tumor in his lung. It has been stated that he will have to go through surgery or chemo and radiation therapy, which he will be going through starting this week. Today he begins both with a vicious cycle to try and get rid of this. The upside? He doesn't seem to be as affected, or he just doesn't understand the severity of the situation. The downside? I am having a hard time breathing and not crying.

So after I hit writer's block this week and realized that my tests and homework was piling up, I decided that I would put my Alien Warriors series on hold. I'd like to apologize for taking so painstakingly long to create new material for this sequel.

On another note, I gained some inspiration last night when watching a movie with my friends, and I'm thinking about releasing a new story based on this movie! It may not come out this week, but it will be done within this month!

New chapter will release on Jan 17. Subsequent chapters will continue to be released on the same weekly basis as before, every sunday, until diminishing returns burns through my backlog once more. Not sure how long that'll take, but hopefully I can keep ahead of it to a satisfactory degree. I'm excited to publish the chapters I've already finished, but I can't say much more than that.

And then there's the videogame addiction rearing it's ugly head again
